Description
Formulation:
Bisacodyl 5 mg per tablet
Indication/s
Indicated for the relief of occasional constipation and irregular bowel movements in adults and children over 10 years of age. It is also used to prepare the bowel before medical examinations or surgery.
Contraindication/s
Hypersensitivity to bisacodyl or any of the tablet’s components

Special Instructions
- Use Dulcolax® for short-term relief only; do not use for more than 5 consecutive days.
- Consult a healthcare provider if constipation persists or worsens.
- Overuse may lead to dependence, dehydration, and electrolyte imbalances.
- Not intended for weight loss purposes.

Store below 25°C. Protect from humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
Mechanism of Action
- The enteric coating protects bisacodyl from stomach acid; it’s activated in the colon.
- Stimulation of Bowel: The active form stimulates bowel muscles and increases water secretion, promoting bowel movements.
