Simethicone

Indication/s

Used to relieve discomfort due to gas accumulation in the stomach and intestines, including sensations of bloating, pressure, fullness, or a stuffed feeling.

Contraindication/s

Should not be used if you have a hypersensitivity to simethicone or any ingredient in the product.

Storage Condition

Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage and Administration

Recommended Dosage:

• Children 2 to 12 years: 1 tablet (40 mg) 4 times daily, after meals and at bedtime.
• Children older than 12 years: 1 to 2 tablets (40–80 mg) 4 times daily, after meals and at bedtime.
• Adults: 1 to 2 tablets (40–80 mg) 4 times daily, after meals and at bedtime.

Special Instructions

• Chew the tablet thoroughly before swallowing.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Mechanism of Action

• Reduces surface tension of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract.
• Facilitates the merging of smaller gas bubbles into larger ones.
• Alleviates bloating and discomfort by promoting the expulsion of gas through flatulence.
